The Betting App Redesign project emerged from post-launch insights and customer feedback, coupled with the need to address identified bugs. The decision was made to iterate on the entire app, initiating the setup of a new design system featuring tokens.

We conducted a comprehensive analysis of the current app, identifying strengths and weaknesses, including poor visual consistency and usability problems.This addition highlights specific issues found during the analysis, setting the stage for the subsequent steps in the redesign process. Furthermore, the analysis revealed a lack of intuitive navigation, hindering user engagement. Additionally, inconsistent color schemes and typography across different app sections were identified, impacting overall brand cohesion and user experience.
We thoroughly examined all the screens and flows. Each screen was compared against our existing 'V1' application, capturing every facet of the user experience, from significant flow changes to subtle UI adjustments. Applying the Jobs to be Done model, we explored the functionality of each flow, diving into both UI intricacies and deep customer insights. This in-depth analysis set the foundation for well-informed design decisions that would steer the evolution of our product.
Recognizing the urgency of identifying potential issues in the new user journeys, we promptly initiated tests with varied UI implementations to gauge customer responses.
To gather feedback, we asked users to assess different layouts, with a specific focus on redesigning sections like the account and betting interfaces.
During this process, we aimed to simplify and streamline certain steps for a more user-friendly experience.
We also developed a cohesive visual design aligned with the app's goals and brand identity, leveraging a newly established design system.
